E-novation Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated First Class CNC Machinist to join our innovative engineering and manufacturing team in Bibra Lake, Western Australia. As a full time CNC machinist, your daily duties include: Set up, program and operate CNC machines including lathes and milling machines Experience with modern CNC controls, preferably Okuma Experience with CAD/CAM systems such as SolidCAM, including toolpath programming and machining strategy development Interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications Select the right tooling/insert and jigs for the required application Manufacture precision components to high tolerances Perform quality inspections using measuring instruments Select correct feeds and speeds. Work with a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel and exotic alloys Assist with continuous improvement of machining processes Maintain safe work practices and equipment maintenance Mentor apprentices and junior machinists and support skills development within the workshop Contribute to efficient workshop organisation and job planning Skills and Experience AQF Certificate Ill in Engineering - Mechanical Trade, or equivalent or relevant experience At least five years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in using CAD and CNC programming is highly advantage Previous experience with 5-axis CNC Milling an advantage Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications Experience with precision machining and measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team What we offer: ·Competitive salary $80,000 – $95,000 per year plus superannuation ·Opportunity to work with advanced CNC machining and manufacturing technologies ·Exposure to innovative projects including Additive manufacturing and advanced engineering solutions ·Supportive and collaborative engineering and manufacturing team ·Safe workplace with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement How to Apply Please submit your resume and a cover letter to: Only selected candidates will be contacted
