Key Responsibilities First point of contact for client enquiries Maintaining client relationships, looking after them operationally Purchase order management Quotations / rate negotiations Updating rates (Autorating) Chasing documentation and ensuring correct paperwork is received Passing documentation on for customs clearance Job registration, Pre-alerts, EDO's, Underbonds Monitoring cargo availability, status & check transshipments Sea/Air cargo reporting Paying charges / Organise EDO's Organising local & interstate road & rail movements Finalising invoices to clients and overseas agents Skills & Experience Cargowise EDI and MS Office experience is essential Prior Operations and Customer Service experience (at least 3 years) with a freight forwarder in the Australian market would be advantageous Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines Time management skills, attention to detail and proficiency Ability to apply creativity and problem-solving skills Apply Now If you have a strong background in freight forwarding and are ready to develop your current skill set with a professional and supportive employer we would love to hear from you.
