Role Overview As an Accountant , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services to a diverse client base. The scope of responsibilities and level of autonomy will be aligned to your experience, with strong support and training provided at every stage. Key Responsibilities Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs Completion of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG obligations Managing payroll tax and workers’ compensation reconciliations Liaising with statutory authorities and supporting client queries Contributing to process improvements and best-practice workflows Participating in team initiatives, monthly tax workshops, and professional development sessions What You Bring You are a proactive accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, high-quality practice environment and is committed to long-term career development. 2 years’ full-time experience in a Chartered Accounting or professional services environment CA qualified or currently undertaking CA studies Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field Familiarity with MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems (or the ability to learn quickly) SMSF and Class Super experience is desirable but not essential Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills A client-first mindset and commitment to delivering quality outcomes Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and take initiative A genuine desire to grow and contribute within a high-performing team Why This Role This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing, people-focused firm that invests in its accountants and supports progression at every stage.
