Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Position Classification: Electronics Tech Remuneration: $87,343.80 - $98,799.60 per annum super Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ644769 About The Role The Biomedical Engineering Department provides a high quality medical technology support service to clinical staff in their use of medical devices to monitor, diagnose or treat patients throughout all facilities in the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD). Its objective is to provide safe, effective, reliable and well maintained medical devices for patient care throughout the facilities, or other entities with which the department has entered into an agreement to provide support services. Providing planned and corrective maintenance, commissioning and calibration to biomedical equipment and associated systems and providing professional advice on biomedical equipment and biomedical engineering services. Participating in, and contributing to the development of quality improvement systems with respect to biomedical engineering services.
