We are seeking an individual that is self-motivated, has a keen eye for detail and an interest in Food Safety and Quality Assurance in the red meat industry to join our team. This position will support Oakey Beef Exports in meeting all legal and licensing requirements in relation to food safety on a day-to-day basis. The applicant will also need to build a collaborative relationship with production supervisors and staff and ensure all food safety standards are kept and maintained. Your responsibilities will include policing all government and company food safety policies, monitoring company hygiene policies and procedures, recording and data entering monitoring findings, providing feedback to management and supervisors, and liaising with government food safety officials and auditors. What skill are we looking for? Strong written and verbal communications skills Sound administration/computer skills Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team Ability to ensure all Food Safety requirements are followed What experience are we looking for? While experience in the Red Meat Industry and/or a Certificate IV in Quality Assurance is highly beneficial, it is not necessary!
