Senior Principal – Data Analytics & Visualisation Our Principals in the Data Analytics & Visualisation team are strategic advisors, trusted client partners, and technical leaders. They combine deep expertise in data storytelling and visual analytics with the ability to shape executive decision-making and drive enterprise-wide impact. Working closely with senior client stakeholders, you will lead the translation of complex, disparate data into strategic insight — embedding business logic, aligning to organisational priorities, and delivering scalable, user-centric analytics solutions. You will not only design and implement best-practice visualisation solutions, but also define the roadmap, influence architecture decisions, and mentor delivery teams to ensure sustainable outcomes. What You Will Do Lead end-to-end visual analytics engagements from strategy through to implementation and adoption. Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, driving data-informed decision-making across the organisation. Shape business cases, define transformation roadmaps, and align analytics solutions to measurable commercial outcomes. Design and oversee the development of enterprise-grade visualisation solutions using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Wave, and related platforms. Define and influence supporting data architecture (e.g., data marts, semantic layers, governance models). Facilitate executive-level workshops, design-thinking sessions, and stakeholder alignment forums. Provide thought leadership in data storytelling, user-centric design, and analytics best practices. Mentor and coach consultants and senior consultants to elevate delivery capability and quality. Contribute to business development, proposals, and account growth initiatives. What You Will Bring Extensive experience in BI and Data & Analytics consulting, advising senior stakeholders and executives. Proven experience leading client engagements and owning delivery outcomes. Deep hands-on expertise in modern data visualisation tools (ideally Tableau) with architectural awareness. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect analytics solutions to business value. Experience shaping data strategy and influencing enterprise data ecosystems. Advanced SQL proficiency and strong understanding of data modelling principles. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at C-suite level. A leadership mindset — comfortable mentoring others while remaining technically credible.
