Employment Type: Permanent Part Time Position Classification: Physiotherapist Lvl 3 Remuneration: $116,892.00 - $120,680.00 per annum pro rata Hours Per Week: 16 Requisition ID: REQ645840 About The Role The Byron Central Hospital Physiotherapy Department is seeking a suitably qualified Senior Physiotherapist with experience in general outpatients and women’s health to join our team. The successful candidate will manage a mixed caseload including, but not limited to, general musculoskeletal outpatients, female continence and pelvic floor disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions related to pregnancy and the postpartum period. We are looking for a physiotherapist with a broad general outpatient background as well as advanced training in women’s health. The ideal candidate will have postgraduate qualifications and/or equivalent CPD in continence and pelvic floor physiotherapy and experience in internal pelvic floor assessment, treatment, and management of continence and pelvic floor disorders. This position provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to support the local health district’s mission of delivering high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred care across generalist outpatient and women’s health services. Additionally, the successful candidate will also provide strategic clinical and service advice and input into a review of women's health services across the Tweed, Murwillumbah, Byron network.
