About the role CBUS is embarking on an exciting journey to elevate our risk culture, frameworks, tools, governance and reporting and is seeking a new Change Manager to join our team. The Change Manager will lead the design and delivery of change management activities across a major Risk Transformation program with a strong emphasis on clear, high-quality communication to executives, senior leaders and impacted employees. This is a hands-on, accountable role requiring exceptional communication skills to ensure information is delivered in a timely, strategic and accessible way. By partnering closely with Program Directors, Program Managers, SMEs and technical teams, the Change Manager will shape how change is understood across the organisation and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on change and communications strategy. This role is critical to the success of CBUS’ journey to uplift its risk culture, frameworks, governance and reporting. The Change Manager ensures complex risk and compliance changes are effectively embedded by assessing impacts, building change readiness, managing stakeholder engagement and clearly articulating the benefits and implications of change. In a complex environment, this role enables informed decision making at executive forums, drives alignment across the organisation and helps employees understand and adopt new ways of working – ultimately ensuring the Risk Transformation delivers sustainable outcomes and long-term value. Key Accountabilities Conduct change impact assessments and manage end-to-end change activities to successfully embed transformation across the organisation Develop and deliver structured change and communication plans, including stakeholder engagement, training needs and adoption strategies Prepare high-quality executive and governance materials that refine complex people and risk impacts into clear insights Identify and manage people related risks, resistance points and mitigation strategies to support change readiness and uptake Design and deliver targeted, on-brand communications and reporting to drive awareness, understanding and sustained adoption of change What will you bring? Proven experience delivering change in large, complex programs, ideally across risk or regulatory initiatives Strong expertise in structured change management methodologies, with formal certification (e.g. Prosci ADKAR®) highly regarded Exceptional executive and organisation-wide communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information Highly developed stakeholder management, coaching and influencing capability across senior leaders and delivery teams Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills with a commitment to role-modelling CBUS values and behaviours Belong at Cbus We value difference, and embrace people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, gender identities, abilities and thinking styles.
