In this role, you will empower individuals with disabilities to develop skills, build confidence, and participate in meaningful work. About the Role: As an Employee Support Worker, you will provide hands-on support to participants in a workplace setting, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and productive environment. Our client is a South Australian owned company who specialise in providing meaningful work for people with disabilities in the packaging department. Key Responsibilities: Support participants with daily work tasks and promote independence Assist with workplace duties such as packing, assembly, and preparation Ensure a safe, organised, and compliant work environment Implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP) Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns Complete documentation including progress notes and incident reports Collaborate with supervisors and team members What We’re Looking For: A positive, empathetic attitude toward people with disability Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow processes and support diverse needs Experience in disability support (preferred but not essential) Certificate III in Disability, Community Services, or similar (desirable) Current NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check (Essential) Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module Skills & Attributes: Compassionate and patient approach Reliable and safety-focused Ability to work independently and in a team Strong attention to detail and organisation What Success Looks Like and what is on offer: Positive engagement and development of participants Consistent application of support strategies Accurate and timely documentation Strong adherence to WHS and NDIS standards Full time and Part time opportunities Ongoing support.
