This is a hands-on role within a structured, high-performing workshop environment. You will play a key part in ensuring trailers are maintained, repaired, and returned to service safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys fault finding, working independently, and contributing to a team that values consistency, accountability and quality. Your Role in the Team: • Diagnostics & Fault Finding: Identify and rectify faults across trailer systems, with a strong focus on EBS diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting. • Repairs & Maintenance: Carry out general repairs, servicing, and component replacements to maintain trailer safety, compliance and reliability. • Quality Workmanship: Complete all work to a high standard, ensuring jobs are done right the first time and aligned with company expectations. • Efficiency & Productivity: Work effectively within allocated job times while maintaining attention to detail and safety. • Workshop Contribution: Support a smooth workflow by communicating clearly with supervisors, leading hands and service advisors. • Compliance & Safety: Follow all safety procedures and ensure all work meets regulatory and company standards. • Equipment Care: Maintain tools and equipment in a clean, organised and serviceable condition. Who We’re Looking For: • Qualified Technician: Trade qualified in heavy vehicle mechanics or similar (preferred). • Trailer Experience (Desirable): Experience working on trailers or transferable heavy vehicle systems. • Strong Diagnostic Ability: Confident in fault finding, particularly within electrical and EBS systems (or willingness to develop in this area). • Reliable & Accountable: Takes ownership of work, follows through and delivers consistent results. • Team-Oriented: Works well within a structured team environment and communicates effectively. • Self-Motivated: Able to work independently during afternoon shift operations. • Safety Focused: Understands and values a safe working environment.
