This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing financial management, reporting, governance and compliance, while providing strategic financial advice to senior leadership. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring financial sustainability and supporting organisational decision-making through high-quality financial insights and reporting. About the Role Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this position will lead the organisation’s financial operations and ensure strong financial governance, reporting and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making. You will also lead the finance team, implement effective financial processes and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage financial operations, systems and reporting frameworks Analyse and interpret financial data to provide forecasts, insights and strategic recommendations Produce accurate and complete monthly accounts and financial reports Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting within required deadlines Develop and maintain financial procedures, controls and risk mitigation strategies Support governance and compliance requirements including legislative reporting Contribute to strategic planning and organisational financial management Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve organisational objectives About You To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Proven ability to produce accurate and complete monthly accounts Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet reporting deadlines Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Business CA or CPA qualification (or near completion) Demonstrated experience managing financial operations within a medium-sized organisation Strong financial analysis and reporting capability with the ability to provide clear insights and recommendations Experience preparing financial statements and supporting year-end audit processes Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards Advanced skills in financial systems and reporting tools Strong communication and leadership skills If you are a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives on delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and meeting critical deadlines, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a role where your expertise will directly support strategic decision-making and organisational success.
