Siemens are seeking a 1st Year Maintenance Fitter Apprentice to work towards a Certificate III in Engineering. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your apprenticeship career start with a global organisation. Some of the things you may do are; Learn to diagnose faults in mechanical systems Dismantling, repairing and reassembling components such as pumps, gearboxes, bearings and conveyors Reading and interpreting drawings, manuals and maintenance schedules Assisting qualified Trades and keeping the workshop clean and tidy MIG and Stig welding Learning to operate a lathe, pedestal grinder, and various other hand/power tools and equipment Location: Clovelly Park Hours of Work: 7.00am – 3.00pm, Monday - Friday What’s in it for you?
