The Position With AlburyCity community at the centre of everything we do, Information Management and Technology Team (IM&T) is focused on creating and sustaining an innovative Information technology culture as one dynamic team. The position is part of a multidisciplinary team that provides support for core business systems within Council. The role provides IT service management to AlburyCity for our core business systems in particular, the technical components that make up the Authority platform, Mapping, GIS Applications, HR and Payroll, our integration platform and the records management platform. The integration platform facilitates linkages between numerous business systems including but not limited to, HR, Finance, Assets and Operational Reporting systems Tasks and responsibilities Role provides design, management and operational support for components that comprise Council’s core business systems including but not limited to Authority ERP, GIS and Mapping as well as the TRIM record management platform. The role manages and develops the integration platform used to connect business systems processes and data. Provide technical support for the platforms through direct implementation or liaison through vendors. Delivery of services employing Customer Service principles of empathy, communication, and respect Fully document processes, procedures and change management activities. Qualifications and experience Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent relevant work experience Programming / Scripting experience Database data manipulation via SQL Class C Drivers Licence (compulsory to have and maintain) Hours Based on a 35-hour week, with actual days and times worked in accordance with the IT roster. The IT roster span of ordinary hours is from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO guidelines.
