The Events team designs and delivers major events that support ASIC's strategic objectives and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, industry and partners. The role As the Events Manager , you will lead the planning and delivery of high-profile, complex events that reflect ASIC's strategic priorities and support effective engagement with stakeholders. Leading the end-to-end planning and delivery of large-scale, high-profile ASIC events, including the ASIC Annual Forum Managing executive-level event coordination, reporting and governance processes to support informed decision-making Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders, industry participants, suppliers and partners Leading procurement, contracting and financial management activities in line with government requirements Identifying, assessing and managing event-related risks, issues and dependencies Leading evaluation activities to assess event outcomes and inform continuous improvement About you You bring extensive experience delivering complex, high-profile events in environments with senior stakeholders and competing priorities. You have strong project management capability and a proven ability to manage multiple events concurrently, ensuring delivery to a high standard, within budget and timeframes. Your experience includes financial and risk management, procurement and contract oversight, and producing clear, high-quality written and verbal communications. You are comfortable working with a high level of autonomy and accountability for outcomes. You are a confident and professional stakeholder manager who builds trust and credibility quickly. You communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences, can influence and negotiate to achieve outcomes, and approach challenges with sound judgement and problem-solving skills. You work collaboratively, model ASIC's values, and bring a proactive, organised and calm approach to managing complex work in a fast-paced environment.
