We have an exciting opportunity for a National Manager – Policy and Compliance to join our growing leadership team, based in either our West Perth or Lane Cove (Sydney) corporate office. This critical and rewarding role is responsible for managing interface from the Aged Care Quality & Standards Commission across our residential and home care services, overseeing policy and procedure development, coordinating registration processes, and facilitating organisational development initiatives to deliver high quality care outcomes. About the role As National Manager – Policy and Compliance, you’ll provide strategic oversight and operational coordination across compliance and policy governance functions. You’ll have two direct reports: a Policy Officer, and a Quality & Compliance Officer; and be responsible for the following key areas: Coordinate all aspects of the renewal of registration process, ensuring the AECT and all associated documentation are completed accurately and submitted within required timeframes Act as the primary liaison and key contact with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission for provider re-registration matters Coordinate provider-level meetings with the Commission Oversee coordination of responses to site audit reports (noting that Quality Managers and EDCSs will primarily manage CDECT and site audits) Coordinate policy reviews across the Group Lead the policy working group Oversee systems reviews to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and best practice Provide oversight and coordination of complex complaints management processes Coordinate all aspects of the Quality Council, including scheduling, requesting reports, collating documentation, and supporting governance reporting What you’ll bring Extensive leadership experience in aged care, ideally in a compliance, governance, or regulatory capacity Demonstrated experience managing regulator relationships Understanding of aged care registration and re-registration processes (desirable) Proven ability to oversee policy frameworks in a complex, cross-functional, and multi-site organisation Experience managing and developing staff Relevant tertiary qualification/s Exceptional written, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills Full Australian work rights Willing to provide a National Police Clearance and Influenza vaccination What we offer Our people are integral to achieving our vision of being a leading aged care provider in Australia.
