About this role Permanent Full Time Base: Bridgeman Downs (Brisbane) | Hybrid (2 WFH days) | Regular travel across Brisbane campuses scheduled interstate travel Make a meaningful, measurable difference-on the ground and cross‑state You're the difference behind calm, capable leaders, thriving teams and consistently child‑safe campuses. In this role, your judgment changes decisions; your coaching shifts conversations; and your follow‑through lifts standards that directly impact children and families every day. The opportunity This full‑time role blends focused hybrid work with high‑touch campus partnering. You'll spend time across our Brisbane campuses and hold a dedicated Victorian regional portfolio (supported remotely and via planned onsite trips). You'll shape people outcomes end‑to‑end-ER, performance, capability and culture-in a fast‑paced, values‑led environment where what you do genuinely matters. What you'll do Partner with Regional and Campus Leaders across QLD and a VIC region to solve complex people challenges and lift leadership capability-so leaders have clarity, confidence and consistency when it counts. Lead ER matters end‑to‑end (investigations, performance, conduct; policy, Modern Awards, Fair Work) and guide fair, timely processes-so outcomes are proportionate, documented and child‑safe. Coach leaders ahead of critical conversations and build practical performance plans-so under‑performance is addressed early and teams feel supported, not surprised. Scan for emerging people risks across multiple campuses (trends, hotspots, root causes) and implement pragmatic fixes-so incidents reduce, retention improves and operational focus returns to children's outcomes. Design and deliver capability uplift (targeted workshops, on‑the‑spot coaching, resources)-so great people practices ‘stick' in the flow of work and aren't just a slide deck. Run an engaging fortnightly induction that sets expectations and culture from day one-so new starters feel connected, safe and set up to succeed. Support performance & succession cycles and enable talent moves-so we grow future leaders and keep our best people in front of children and families. Own strong case management and records-so decisions are evidence‑based, defensible and easy for leaders to act on. Travel regularly within Brisbane and on a planned cadence to your VIC region-so relationships stay real and your influence reaches the floor, not just the screen. What you'll bring Experience as an HR Business Partner/Senior Advisor in a high‑volume, operational setting. Depth in ER (investigations, performance management, terminations) with sound legislation/Award interpretation. Calm, pragmatic judgement with a solutions‑focused, human approach. Strength in stakeholder management, influencing and building trust across multiple sites. Confidence facilitating engaging group sessions (in‑person and virtual). Mobility to travel across Brisbane and to a Victorian region on a planned cadence (driver's licence advantageous). Why Only About Children?
