Access Arts is looking for a dedicated Arts Support Worker to join our team at our Visual Arts Yeronga studio. This is a permanent part-time role working Tuesdays and Thursdays with opportunity for extended days, based at our Yeronga studio in Brisbane! In this role you will: Support artists with disability to develop their creative practice and reach their artistic goals Assist in the facilitation of visual arts workshops in group and 1:1 settings Set up and pack down workshop spaces and manage associated administration Provide personal care support in line with individual participant needs Maintain accurate records including attendance rosters, enrolment forms and incident reports Contribute to a safe, welcoming and accessible studio environment You will bring: Experience in visual arts-based programs or workshops, ideally with people with disability A genuine understanding of visual arts practice and how to apply it in a supported setting Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach The ability to work independently and as part of a small, committed team Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain) Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) Current C class driver’s licence with access to a vehicle Please see attached below position description for all requirements of the role.
