Opportunities in General Liability: If you’re a talented lawyer with experience in defendant insurance and an interest in general liability matters, we’d love to speak with you. Our General Liability practice is known for handling complex, sensitive and high‑profile defendant matters for leading domestic and international insurers. We are looking for someone who has worked across Public Liability, Personal Injury, Product Liability, or equivalent General Liability matters on the defendant side. Why join us? Depending on your experience and interests, you could work across : Personal Injury/Casualty: Defending insureds across casualty claims involving construction and labour hire entities, hospitality and entertainment venues, recreational and sporting organisations, retail owners and occupiers, as well as coronial inquests and nervous shock claims. Property damage: Acting on complex property damage matters, including construction‑related damage, fire and other losses in hospitality and entertainment venues, third‑party loss and PI claims in the energy, mining and manufacturing sectors, and first‑party damage and economic loss on large construction projects. Insurance, Contractual & Coverage Advice: Advising insurers and insureds on contribution, contractual indemnities, failure to insure claims, and complex coverage issues across public and product liability, construction and ISR policies. About you: Solicitor or Associate level lawyer with defendant insurance experience Background in public liability, personal injury, product liability, or general liability Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills Confident managing matters end‑to‑end with appropriate supervision A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering excellent client outcomes Motivated to grow your career within a leading insurance and risk practice Why WK?
