This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys precision mechanical work and takes pride in quality and accuracy. The Role: You'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, testing components and rebuilding heavy vehicle power steering systems. The role involves a mix of bench based workshop work and on vehicle repairs. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose faults in heavy vehicle power steering systems. Rebuild and repair steering gears and associated components. Test steering systems and pumps to ensure performance and quality. Carry out on vehicle repairs where required. Follow established quality and safety processes. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Communicate with team members and customers as needed. Who We're Looking For: Minimum 3 years' experience as a heavy vehicle or diesel mechanic / fitter. Strong hands on experience with power steering systems. Experience with diagnostics and component rebuild work. Comfortable working in a workshop environment using tools and lifting equipment.
