Oz Airpro Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our growing team in Fairfield, Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems across residential and commercial sites. Key Responsibilities Interpret technical drawings and specifications to plan and carry out installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Install and connect HVAC components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors and associated pipework. Cut, bend, thread and join pipes and copper lines for refrigerant, gas and chilled water systems. Test, commission and charge systems, including leak detection, vacuuming and performance testing. Diagnose faults, carry out servicing and repairs, and maintain records of maintenance and corrective actions. Requirements Relevant qualification: AQF Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3). 1–2 years of relevant industry experience. Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems effectively. Strong attention to safety and compliance requirements. Good communication and teamwork skills.
