Their team culture promotes accountability, teamwork, and hands-on support. About the Role: WorkPac are currently seeking a Trades Assistant to join a busy depot based at Perth Airport. This is a Monday to Friday role working day shift hours, supporting workshop operations and container maintenance activities. The position is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Be Doing: You will be responsible for assisting with container repairs and modifications using a range of hand and power tools, including drills, grinders, plasma cutters, and circular saws. The role will also involve maintaining a clean and organised workshop and yard, as well as supporting general depot duties such as cleaning, painting, and manual labour tasks. You will work closely with the team to ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently. What You Will Need: Experience using drills, grinders, plasma cutters, and circular saws (essential) Previous experience in a trades assistant or labouring role Basic welding experience highly regarded Forklift ticket (desirable) Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to work both independently and within a team Current Drivers License (preferred) Ability to supply own PPE (steel cap boots and high-vis shirt) Benefits: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm 3-month assignment | ASAP Start Perth Airport location Apply Now: Click on the apply button and complete the application.
