Job Description High level analysis, review and reporting on the financial management, including planning and coordination of the annual budget. Leading a high performing team delivering professional and responsive services including planning and overseeing the day-to-day workflows of the team and delivering on key service objectives and organisational priorities. Timely submission of financial information to central agencies such as Queensland Treasury's whole-of-government financial management system (TRIDATA), forward estimates and Service Delivery Statements (SDS). Providing highly complex submissions and reports relating to financial management ensuring accuracy and consistency of cost allocation and financial performance measures including strategic advice and operational direction to senior stakeholders. The Successful Applicant A successful AO7 - Finance Lead should have: A strong background in accounting and finance, preferably within the public sector. Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management. Proven ability to interpret and apply financial policies and legislation. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. CPA or CA accreditation is highly regarded.
