Job Description The Role: We’re partnering with a well established construction business to recruit a reliable and detail driven Senior Finance Officer to join their close knit finance team. This is a hands on, end to end finance role supporting project teams across multiple sites, with a strong focus on accounts payable, reconciliations, payroll support, and day to day financial operations. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly from a financial perspective. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys ownership, variety, and being embedded within an operational, project based environment rather than sitting behind the scenes. We’re seeking someone with: • Previous experience in Accounts Payable and payroll within a commercial or project based environment • Strong understanding of reconciliations, coding, and financial controls • Experience supporting month end processes and general ledger accounts • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines • Confident communicator who can liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams • Solid Excel skills and experience using financial systems (Jobpac, Procore, Xero or similar preferred) • Certificate IV in Accounting or similar qualifications desirable but not essential • A proactive, team oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership Key Responsibilities: • Manage end to end Accounts Payable including invoice matching, coding, approvals, and payment runs • Reconcile supplier accounts, project bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and asset registers • Support payroll processing including timesheets, reimbursements, and employee payments • Assist with cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling • Prepare payment schedules and ensure all weekly and month end payments are completed accurately and on time • Respond to staff, supplier, and subcontractor queries professionally and efficiently • Maintain accurate records within the financial management system and ensure compliance with internal controls • Provide day to day financial support to project and construction teams Benefits: • Stable, growing construction business with long term pipeline of work • Varied, hands on role with exposure across projects and operations • Supportive and collaborative team environment • Opportunity to step into a senior finance officer position with real ownership • Office based role with close interaction with leadership and project teams Apply To express your interest, please contact Zander Roubicek at: zander@psgaus.com.au 0427 946 532
