The Opportunity The Finance Manager is accountable for the integrity of financial reporting, internal controls, funding compliance and capital oversight to safeguard organisational assets and support financial sustainability. This new position reporting to the Executive Manager - Finance & IT is a full-time onsite opportunity, with a remuneration package comprised of base salary leave loading, superannuation & NFP Salary Packaging. Responsibilities: Leading the finance and accounting team to deliver accurate, timely and compliant financial services across Carrington Managing the finance and accounting team, maintaining an appropriately skilled and resourced finance team delivering to services standards Providing strategic & executive-level financial analysis & performance insights to support informed decision-making across all business operations. Evaluating capital expenditure proposals and business cases, assessing financial viability, risk and return on investment. Identifying and monitoring financial risks across operations, implementing mitigation strategies aligned to the organisational risk framework. Ensuring governance and integrity of financial systems and data supporting all business operations and service models. About you Essential: Minimum 8 years of accounting and finance experience, including 3 years’ experience in management or leadership role Degree qualifications with CA/CPA accreditation. Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and audit management. Strong understanding of financial governance, internal controls and risk management frameworks. Experience operating within a regulated environment (aged care, health or not-for-profit preferred). Demonstrated high-level analytical, financial modelling, data interpretation, analytical & problem-solving skills Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to influence at a Senior Management level. Excellent organisation, time management & prioritisation skills. Advanced proficiency in financial systems and computer software skills (including advanced Excel capability). Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Check Desirable: Experience within the aged care and/or broader seniors living industry, including residential care, Support at Home and retirement village operations. Experience preparing regulatory financial reports (e.g. ACFR).
