Permanent (On-going) Position West Footscray Location | 3 Days From Office & 2 Days From Home Not-For Profit Organisation | Supply Chain | New ERP Solution The Role: The Supply Chain Functional Specialist is responsible for providing guidance and expertise to the organisation related to design, implementation and management of specific business processes and technology applications. The Responsibilities: Serve as the appointed SME, representing functional and departmental needs. Translation of business requirements into clear functional specifications and solution designs. Support the development of RFP documentation and assist with vendor and solution evaluation. Act as a primary SME contact for expert advice, communication updates and enquiries. Provide regular updates on testing progress, defects, risks, and project impacts. Create and maintain functional documentation such as process flows, test cases, user manuals, procedures, work instructions etc. Lead system improvement initiatives, validations, implementations, and ongoing maintenance of organisational technology applications / systems that improve and optimise operational processes, customer experience, user experience, and business outcomes. Skills & Experience Required: A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Functional Analyst providing insight and end to end solutions within Supply Chain. Advanced working knowledge of Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP solutions with strong experience of ERP architectures, modules, and best practice approaches for ERP selection, implementation, and integration. Ability to interpret data and convert insights into informed, actionable recommendations. Ability to work independently and with management, and staff at all levels, to be seen as a trusted advisor and partner to influence outcomes to achieve organisational outcomes and solve specialist problems. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to adapt communications to identified need and/or purpose, build relationships and gain cooperation with stakeholders.
