Join a well established Defence Industry Tech organisation supporting Sydney operations Your new company A wellestablished technology organisation operating in a regulated, safetyfocused environment is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support its Sydney operations. The business provides specialist products and services to a broad client base and operates across multiple Australian locations. Due to ongoing operational requirements, an experienced logistics professional is required to support daytoday logistics, inventory, and facilities coordination. Your new role Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient and compliant delivery of logistics and facilities services across the Sydney office, with occasional support to the Brisbane operation. This is a handson role suited to someone who enjoys ownership of logistics processes and maintaining accurate inventory and facilities oversight.Key responsibilities include: Coordinating daytoday logistics operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory control Managing client and company inventory using SAP and associated systems, ensuring accurate stock levels and reporting Liaising with internal teams including Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and Demonstrations to support project and business needs Supporting warehouse and inventory coordination with the Brisbane site when required Overseeing goods movements and engaging with transport providers and external stakeholders Generating logistics and inventory reports for management Supporting facilities management activities, including contractor coordination, maintenance requests, and WHS checks Acting as the primary point of contact for the Sydney landlord and coordinating planned and reactive maintenance Managing waste services, housekeeping inspections, and WHS compliance activities Supporting exhibitions and trade shows as required Maintaining company vehicle usage logs and assisting with general operational tasks as needed What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have: Australian Citizen, eligible for AGSVA defence clearances Previous experience in logistics coordination, warehouse operations, or inventory management Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems Exposure to facilities management within office, laboratory, or technical environments Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities A proactive and selfdirected working style Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders A strong understanding of WHS requirements, including manual handling and safe work practices Confidence performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving goods (up to 20kg) using safe techniques and equipment What you'll get in return You will secure a contract opportunity with a respected organisation offering a supportive working environment and a varied role covering logistics, inventory, and facilities coordination.
