We are currently seeking an experienced Village Manager to join our Retirement Living team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our independent living village at Swan Hill Retirement Village. We are looking for a strong leader who genuinely enjoys building community and making a difference in the lives of others. You will bring empathy, professionalism, and a proactive attitude to every part of your work. This is a part-time role, with negotiable hours across 3-4 days. About the Role Reporting to the Regional Manager - Retirement Living, you will lead the operations of a retirement village, fostering a vibrant, safe, and welcoming community for our residents. You will play a key role in resident engagement, village operations, staff leadership, and compliance-ensuring our high standards and values are upheld every day. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the retirement village. Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and staff. Oversee maintenance, grounds, cleaning, and contractor services. Contribute to budget planning and financial performance. Support sales activity to maintain optimal village occupancy (95–100%). Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and reporting requirements. Organise resident services, community activities and healthy living programs. Welcome and orient new residents to the village community. Requirements: Demonstrated leadership and staff management experience desirable. Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage operational budgets. Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain). Experience in aged care, retirement living or similar. Knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act (desirable). Sales or customer service background. Why Respect?
