Production Manager – Digital Imaging Project focussed Service orientated Dynamic experienced team An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within our Digital Imaging Business. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of service and driving the ongoing development of the business unit, with the support of an experienced local team. You will lead and manage the activities of the production team, providing strong direction and leadership to guide the team toward continued success. To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following attributes: Knowledge of manufacturing procedures involved in the Micrographic and Electronic imaging areas Proven experience in production management, preferably in data, image capture, or digitisation project environments Strong understanding of labour and cost management within a production environment Advanced computer skills that will include Microsoft 365 Strong technology-based skills that demonstrate knowledge of networking and Windows functionality Commitment to quality, customer service, and continuous improvement Good communication skills Proven people management and leadership skills Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the production department to deliver quality services efficiently. Implement and refine production strategies, procedures, and controls aligned with budget and customer expectations. Ensure security and confidentiality of all customer materials and data. Maintain job specifications and ensure production aligns with customer requirements. Drive continuous improvement in quality assurance, operator efficiency, and production output. Monitor and report on KPIs, production summaries, and performance metrics. Manage staffing levels, training, and performance appraisals to maintain high morale and productivity. Oversee control of equipment maintenance and job scheduling. Support and contribute to the delivery of digitisation projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and customer expectations are met.
