Due to the continued success and growth of the Milwaukee brand we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HSW Advisor to join the team at our brand-new state of the art DC situated at Melbourne Airport, Tullamarine. This role will also be responsible for overseeing our sites in Perth WA and New Zealand. Reporting to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Lead, the key objective of this role will be to deliver HSW advice and service, supporting application and continuous improvement of the HSW Management System. Your key responsibilities will include: Health, Safety and Wellbeing Culture Enabling a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across all Milwaukee business areas - empowering leaders with the knowledge and guidance to adopt a proactive HSW mindset and lead by example in safe work practices. Proactively coach and guide leaders in best practice health, safety and wellbeing management. Partner with key stakeholders Build relationships and provide effective operational advice, support, coaching and guidance to Leaders Provide advice, interpretation and guidance on application of the HSWMS, as well as leading practices and legislative/regulatory requirements. Identify gaps and determine, prioritise, evaluate and recommend appropriate solutions aligned with Milwaukee strategic objectives. Participate in, and if required conduct HSW audits to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure conformance with Milwaukee requirements HSW Management System (HSWMS) Development and Continuous Improvement Support development, maintenance and continuous improvement of HSWMS. Work collaboratively across the business to identify, elaborate and drive improvements and integration of the HSWMS. Provide support on development, scheduling and implementation of Milwaukee audit regime (internal and external) in consultation with relevant activity owners. Support application of document control, data and records storage and management requirements for the HSWMS. Operational Management Contribute to HSW governance and reporting. Support the management of strategic and operational P&C risks and issues Provide feedback on systems and processes to improve effectiveness. About You You will a Cert IV in WHS combined with solid working experience of Model WHS Act, Codes of Conduct and Regulations. A minimum 3 years' experience in delivery of HSW advice and service, with relevant industry experience and the following attributes: Effective communication skills, with an ability to import knowledge and coach others. Demonstrated experience in influencing and driving change across a diverse organisation. Previous exposure to a DC environment across multiple sites is highly preferred. Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes to win/ win positions. Sound understanding of ANZ Workcover and related requirements would be advantageous. Experience in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio). Strong attention to detail and well organised and Experience within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
