Sedgman is looking for a Commissioning Manager to support project delivery by supervising the onsite commissioning efforts to achieve effective performance to the specified quality, within planned schedules, budget, guidelines, company policies and contractual and legislative requirements. This role will be set up on a 12-month contract. Key Responsibilities: Manage the development of project specific commissioning test procedures & check sheets Manage the development of isolation matrix for equipment Identify and document key risks and hazards associated with commissioning activities and implement and communicate appropriate controls through the sites risk assessment process Establish, maintain and reviewing effective management plans for the commissioning phase of the project Complete commissioning planning, programming and on-site completion schedules Identify resource requirements in line with the project budget, and engage required resources, in conjunction with the Completions Manager and Project Manager. Supervise and schedule the activities of Commissioning Supervisors Commissioning Engineers and sub-contractors in order to ensure that quality, time and cost schedules are met. Manage and schedule activities of site teams and liaise with on-site staff to ensure the co-ordination of the construction handover and complete commissioning process Liaise with the design and commissioning Engineers to modify design in commissioning systems and methods as needed during the progress of the commissioning phase Oversight of isolation permits and communication of isolations to commissioning team and construction workforce Qualifications: Minimum 10 years site construction experience encompassing commissioning, subcontractor management in a project environment and familiarity with project management practices Excellent commercial and contractual awareness Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
