Our client is an industry leader in handling bulk commodities – providing total solution project management to clients in the areas of: discharging and loading of bulk vessels throughout Australia and storage of bulk commodities in Brisbane. Role: We are seeking someone with experience operating loaders, forklifts, or excavators , or potentially candidates with shipping experience! The roles will primarily operate on a Monday–Friday rotating roster of 6:00 am – 2:00 pm and 7:00 am – 3:00 pm , as required. At times, overtime is offered and, for the Operator role, there may also be opportunity to join the shipping roster when vessels are in port. Purpose: The Stores team member role is a hands-on position undertaking a wide variety of stores, cleaning and operational tasks. This includes general maintenance, housekeeping, loading and moving product as well as assisting the broader team operationally when ships are loading and discharging. Requirements: Front End Loader, Forklift, Skidsteer, Excavator ticket(s) is desirable or the ability to obtain one HR or HC driver’s licence is desirable or the ability to obtain one Current drivers licence Ability to successfully apply for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) Experience: Heavy machinery experience loading bulk trucks is preferable Knowledge of OHS issues relevant to work activities and work area If this sounds like the career move you’ve been waiting for, APPLY TODAY!
