About the Division An exciting opportunity exists within School Digital Services Branch, School Application Services in the Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD). IMTD provides innovative and integrated ICT Systems and information management services and support. About the Role The Training & Support Manager leads and manages a team of 12 VPS4 staff who provide training and support services for school systems, including CASES21, eduPay, and Student Insight. The role oversees the operation of nine permanent Information Technology Training Centres (ITTCs) across the state, as well as ad-hoc satellite locations, managing the training calendar for trainer-led sessions, surge capacity for Level 2 service desk support, and the development and maintenance of system training and support resources. The position is responsible for leading the design and delivery of both face-to-face and virtual training programs for Victorian government schools, managing ITTC staff, budgets, assets, and maintenance plans, and liaising with host principals and business managers. The role also establishes and maintains strong stakeholder relationships across corporate, regional, and school levels, supports a geographically diverse team in their training and support activities, and ensures consistent, high-quality service delivery. In addition, the position oversees the development and maintenance of training materials, support resources, and reporting, including training needs analysis, service performance, and client satisfaction information. A track record of developing high-quality professional development and training materials across multiple delivery modes and environments. Effective people management and leadership skills. Experience in budget management. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and drive outcomes.
