About the role As a Pre‑Construction Specialist at SHAPE, you’ll support early planning across our projects. Working closely with SHAPIANS, clients and consultants, you’ll contribute to feasibility, planning and cost development to help ensure projects are designed to budget and ready for delivery. In this role, you will: Support early planning, feasibility and cost development across design and build projects Assist with pre‑construction coordination, estimating and tender submissions Work closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors during the pre‑construction phase Support procurement planning, programme development and project handover Assist with early identification of design, cost, programme and quality risks Help ensure projects are designed to budget and ready for delivery Support compliance with SHAPE safety, environmental and delivery standards About you We’re a tight‑knit team, and this role suits someone who thrives on collaboration, sees the big picture, but is also willing to roll up their sleeves and juggle competing priorities. We’d love you to have: A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering or a related discipline 5 years experience in construction, fitout or design and build Exposure to pre‑construction, estimating, pre‑contracts or project coordination Experience supporting tender submissions or feasibility studies Confidence working with clients, consultants and subcontractors A good understanding of design and construct contracts Strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach Why we’re a great place to work We have the ambitious vision to be ‘the place where everyone wants to work’.
