About the Job This is a key position that assists with the efficient and effective maintenance and operation of the Shire's Wylie Bay Waste Management Facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Operate equipment predominantly forklift. Operate other plant equipment including bailing machine, small truck compactor and loader (training available where required). Supervise a small group of employees. Undertake minor maintenance of machinery. Labouring tasks as required. This is a full time position, working 38 hours per week. About you In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have: A forklift ticket plus demonstrated experience operating a forklift. Well developed teamwork, time management and organisational skills. Demonstrated leadership skills. Demonstrated knowledge of routine plant maintenance requirements. Benefits Salary : $73,600.00 per annum Permanent staff are entitled to: 5 weeks annual leave per year The option of one Rostered Day Off (RDO) every 4 weeks in exchange for working 40 hours per week.
