Between waiting periods, exclusions, extras and fine print, it can get confusing fast. We make it easier. In this sales role, you will guide customers through their options, help them understand what matters for their situation, and match them to cover that fits their needs and budget. Our purpose is simple: make it easier for Australians to make the right purchasing decisions, providing more value and peace of mind. We are building Australia’s most trusted household savings platform - so when you spot another way we can help a customer beyond health insurance, you will connect them with the right team. The role You will speak with customers to compare health insurance, run a needs-based conversation, and close sales through clarity and confidence - not pressure tactics. You will also identify when we can genuinely help with other household bills and make a warm referral to the relevant Compare Club specialists. What you will do Guide customers through health insurance options and help them choose the right policy Break down complex information into plain English, including trade-offs and key inclusions/exclusions Ask smart discovery questions to understand needs, priorities and budget. Tailor recommendations to each customer’s situation, then progress the conversation to a clear next step Build trust quickly through calm, professional and empathetic communication Maintain high-quality CRM notes and follow-through, supporting strong customer outcomes and repeat business. About you You are an experienced, phone-based salesperson who enjoys helping customers reach a decision they feel good about. You can work at pace, but you do not cut corners - you care about quality, clarity and doing the right thing. You may come from: Call centre / inside sales / telesales Insurance, banking or other financial services Utilities or telco (high-volume phone-based sales) Customer retention, account management or member services with targets Health insurance experience is a bonus, not essential. What matters most is: - A proven sales track record over time - Strong listening, questioning and objection-handling skills - Resilience and consistency (you show up and do the work every day) - Coachability and a genuine focus on customer outcomes Why Compare Club?
