About the Role: As a Safety Advisor you will be responsible for driving safety performance and fostering a strong proactive safety culture across Proserpine Mill. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will provide hands on safety leadership advice and support to employees contractors and visitors ensuring safety remains at the forefront of all operations. You will implement group safety initiatives coordinate training programs and site inductions monitor compliance with legislative and company requirements and support injury management and rehabilitation processes. This role also plays a key part in continuously improving safety systems and collaborating across all departments to maintain a safe compliant and high performing workplace. Role Responsibilities: Promote and uphold Wilmar’s commitment to safety through daily engagement, audits, and toolbox participation. Coordinate and deliver site safety programs, inductions, and health initiatives. Provide guidance and clarification on safety policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. Lead and participate in incident investigations, corrective actions, and risk management activities. Support rehabilitation and return-to-work processes in line with organisational requirements. Collaborate with site leaders and the Group Safety team to implement and monitor safety improvement initiatives. Experience coordinating and delivering site safety programs, inductions, and health initiatives, while providing clear guidance on safety policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. Proven ability to lead and support incident investigations, implement corrective actions, and drive effective risk management practices. Experience supporting rehabilitation and return-to-work processes in line with organisational and legislative requirements.
