Located at our orbital launch site in Bowen, Queensland, this role plays a vital part of the Testing and Operations Team, contributing to all testing and launch operations across the business. You will help execute propulsion tests on liquid bi-propellant engines, hybrid rocket engines, pump feed systems, and other associated sub-systems. How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space: The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do: Conduct testing and participate in test reviews on both launch vehicle systems and sub-systems Participate effectively as part of a launch operations team for the purpose of executing launch missions Establish a deep level of understanding of launch vehicle sub-systems through hardware test campaigns Generate test procedures for hardware testing and for the operation of a launch vehicle Participate in the handling and maintenance of propellants, hardware and test equipment as required to execute test campaigns Develop an intuitive understanding of technical and safety risk as it relates to the work you conduct Other duties as requested by Management Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline such as Aerospace Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience: We recognise you may not meet all of the below, but don’t let that deter you.
