About the Opportunity Wellways is seeking a Service Integration Lead for our Townsville area to champion integrated, person‑centred services and embed trauma‑informed, culturally safe practices while driving innovation and inclusion through the Carer Gateway program. Responsibilities Lead multidisciplinary teams and navigate complexity, delivering results with empathy and clarity. Develop and embed community development strategies that strengthen local capacity and build collaborative partnerships. Support staff to logistically and operationally plan and implement services. Work closely with Counsellors, Coaches, Peer Support Facilitators and the Carer Hub Navigator to ensure services are inclusive, trauma‑informed and culturally safe. Provide strategic, operational and human‑centred outcomes, balancing planning, delivery and KPIs with heart. Participate in out‑of‑hours activities as required. Maintain a hybrid arrangement of 1 day WFH and 4 days in the office. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in a social science or related discipline, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience working within the specified local community in at least one of the Caring, Mental Health, Community, Disability or Health Sciences sectors. A minimum of 2 years’ leadership experience. Right to work within Australia and a current valid driver’s licence with the ability to undertake travel. NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (free online course). Satisfactory National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check. Strong report‑writing, analytical and communication skills. Deep understanding of the local community and a relational approach to care.
