Centacare North Queensland is seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Intervention Worker to provide intensive in-home support to families engaged in the Child Protection system. Description: About the Role As a Family Intervention Worker, you will: Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based family interventions Work intensively with families (5–20 hours per week) Complete risk and safety assessments Develop and review intervention plans aligned with Child Safety case goals Model practical parenting and household skills Provide supervised contact and detailed reporting Collaborate closely with Child Safety and other service providers This role requires resilience, professionalism, and the ability to build rapport while maintaining clear boundaries.
