Our Opportunity As Development Manager you will work within the team to manage and deliver projects including taking responsibility for various aspects of financial and program delivery. Create and manage project feasibility – single stage, multi stages, JV models and all components of financial model. Establish and manage budgets and cash flows accurately. Enter into and negotiate/finalise negotiations. Review and manage development programme and brief. Write formal business correspondences, reports and presentations. Identify and manage risks and opportunities to optimise outcomes and know when to escalate to management. Ability to identify all aspects of development including identifying deficiencies, standardisation, innovation, revenue time and cost to extract maximum value. Identify and communicate ‘the bigger picture’, new business opportunities, and put together requirements. Value management of all aspects and stages of the project. Proactive approach at advancing project. Possess thorough market knowledge and understanding of the market, including keeping up to date with competing developments. Possess thorough understanding of planning system and ability to seek and obtain Development Approvals. Your point of difference You will have demonstrated industry experience working on commercial mixed use / office projects and bring strong commercial, legal and financial acumen. You’ll draw on your background in procurement, planning and tendering processes, along with proven capability in managing multiple projects and navigating regulatory and legal matters. Your ability to provide well‑considered recommendations within project feasibility will be essential in driving successful outcomes. You’ll also bring solid experience in managing and developing teams, supported by strong conflict‑resolution skills and confidence working across both project and people management challenges. This role suits someone who thrives in complex environments, can balance competing priorities, and communicates clearly to influence stakeholders at all levels.
