SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER / ESTIMATOR- PORT HEDLAND RESIDENTIAL - (Or willing to relocate) Goodline is a major Australian construction and maintenance services contractor, with a workforce of over 1000 skilled individuals. About the Role: Goodline is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Project Engineer / Estimator to join our team based in Port Hedland. Reporting to the Lead Estimator, this role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of project engineering and estimating functions, including scoping, pricing, planning, and supporting execution of construction and shutdown packages by our site-based teams. This position plays a critical role in both pre-contract and project delivery phases, ensuring accurate cost forecasting, commercial alignment, and technical excellence across multidisciplinary projects within the Pilbara region. About You: Mechanical Engineering degree or Mechanical trade qualification with significant estimating and project engineering experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within construction, mining, or heavy industry Proven experience tendering and delivering packages ranging from $10–100M Strong foundation in first principles estimating across construction, maintenance, and shutdown projects Demonstrated ability to manage multidiscipline scopes including Civil, SMP, E&I and vertical construction packages Proficiency in Primavera P6 (desirable) Current driver’s licence You will bring a strong commercial mindset with the ability to scope works accurately, develop detailed cost estimates, manage budgets, support project controls, and contribute to planning and scheduling. You will be confident working with large datasets and complex project documentation. As a senior member of the team, you will liaise directly with clients and key stakeholders to secure ongoing work, ensure successful project outcomes, and maintain long-term relationships. You will also provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and trade-based estimators.
