Who We're Looking For We're currently seeking an experienced commercial construction Estimator to join our dynamic New Business team. Based in our Perth Head Office conveniently located in Elizabeth Quay, this role is pivotal in shaping the commercial success of our projects from the ground up. You'll be working in a respected position, across high-profile, large-scale (tier 1) construction tenders, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate, competitive and strategic cost planning outcomes. As an Estimator, you won't just be pricing projects - you'll be influencing design, guiding strategy, broadening professional relationships, and meaningfully contributing to securing exciting new opportunities for the business. On a Day-to-day Basis, You Will Prepare detailed and competitive tender estimates, budgets, cost plans, and take-offs. Collaborate with design teams, clients, and delivery teams to ensure scopes alignment across all project phases. Identify and manage cost-specific risks, opportunities, and value management strategies. Engage with the subcontractor and supplier market, coordinating tender invitations, query resolution, and detailed assessment of proposals Manage & review the preparation of third party BOQs Contribute to maintaining trade cost and project benchmarking databases Support bid strategy development and contribute to “point of difference” tender approaches. Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture. Provide cost advice and feasibility support to internal stakeholders and clients. What You'll Bring To The Team A minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating within the local construction market. Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Engineering (TAFE Diploma in Building or similar also considered). Strong understanding of construction techniques and market conditions. Proficiency in estimating software such as CostX, and Microsoft Excel, as well as Aconex & EstimateOne. Exceptional communication, time management and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to ‘think outside the box' and deliver results in high-pressure environments and work both autonomously and collaboratively.
