Job Description About the Role As the Accomodation Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end performance of the accommodation facility, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-run environment for all residents. You will lead a small, dedicated team across accommodation, catering, housekeeping, and facilities—creating a positive culture and consistently delivering high-quality service. You’ll also be expected to step in and assist with hands-on tasks such as cleaning or food preparation when required, setting the standard for teamwork and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Ensure the daily operations of accommodation, catering and facilities are maintained to a high standard. Oversee cleaning and housekeeping requirements, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard. Oversee catering requirement, ensuring all meals are maintained to a high standard. Manage rostering for catering, facility, guest relations and cleaning staff. Control costs and stock management. Allocate accommodation in accordance with employee rosters. Provide guidance and coaching to your team. Managing administration and reporting requirements. Foster a safe and positive work culture. About You Desired Skills and Experience You’re an engaging leader with a calm, solutions‑focused approach. You bring people together, set clear expectations, and create a culture where your team feels supported and motivated. You understand village or hospitality operations and can balance commercial expectations with an excellent resident experience. You'll bring Previous supervisory or management experience in mining accommodation camp/village or regional motel accommodation facility. Hospitality management experience. A leadership style built on trust, accountability, and clear communication Strong commercial acumen and confidence in decision‑making Ability to adapt quickly and support the team with hands-on tasks when needed Solid understanding of safety compliance and accommodation operations Strong computer skills Ability to build positive relationships with staff and residents Requirements A Valid Driver’s Licence National Police Clearance (or able to obtain) Food Handling Certificate, SITXFSA005 - Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety (or equivalent) Ability to pass a medical and drug & alcohol screening A Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable).
