As a Project Officer in the Road Safety Policy and Reform Directorate, you will support the planning, coordination and related administration activities of several senior level road safety governance committees. You will use your excellent verbal and written communication skills, executive support officer skills and proven ability to effectively collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to support the Directorate’s goals and the achievement of national and state objectives in line with regulatory and economic reform agendas. About you You are a proactive professional experienced in coordinating projects, programs or policy work while managing resources and priorities effectively. You work confidently under limited direction, making sound decisions and delivering outcomes on time. You embrace change, act with urgency and solve complex issues with a practical, solution'‘focused approach. Educational Qualifications / Licences Appropriate tertiary qualification is desirable. Relevant professional experience is desirable. Special Conditions A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years. A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which must be renewed every five years before expiry. Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required. Tenure of Vacancy Ongoing Remuneration ASO5 - $85,790 to $95,413pa superannuation.
