As a Customer Engagement Officer , you will play a central role in welcoming and guiding prospective clients through their aged care journey. Your Opportunity This is 12-month fixed term full time opportunity based in Woodberry Village, Winston Hills. As a Customer Engagement Officer, you will be the first point of contact for new and potential clients. You will provide accurate information, guide families through aged care options, promote Anglicare’s services, and help turn enquiries into consultations. Your work will directly support the growth of Anglicare at Home by ensuring every prospective client receives an exceptional, warm and seamless customer experience. With professionalism, empathy and strong communication skills, you will: Sales Intake & First Contact Build trust with prospective clients, their relatives and advocates Explain aged care services clearly, including government websites, My Aged Care and eligibility pathways Maintain strong knowledge of Anglicare’s service offerings Highlight Anglicare’s point of difference and recommend tailored services Meet KPIs relating to leads, consultations and conversion activity Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Customer Experience Provide excellent customer service across all communication channels Manage expectations and maintain strong communication throughout the enquiry journey Ensure a smooth transition from initial enquiry to consultation Work collaboratively with Care Consultants, Clinical & Allied Health team, Support Hub, Social Wellness Centres, Chaplains and other various internal & external teams Lead Management Manage and track leads using ARK Action referrals received through multiple pathways Monitor My Aged Care Provider Portal and facilitate referrals Support clients transitioning from CHSP to SAH by explaining options simply and clearly What You’ll Bring You are a warm, confident communicator with a passion for supporting older Australians to navigate their care options. You thrive in customer focused roles and enjoy building rapport quickly. You will also need: Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent Previous experience in aged care or the community sector preferred Strong customer service and relationship building skills Clear written and verbal communication abilities Intermediate computer literacy and proficiency in multiple business applications/programs Understanding of government subsidised aged care services (desirable) Ability to showcase, upsell and present services confidently You’ll succeed if you are: Engaging and empathetic Detail oriented and proactive Comfortable working with KPIs and lead pipelines Passionate about helping older people access the right support Why Anglicare?
