The role Hy-Tec currently has an opportunity for a Mobile Crushing Operator to join our Rockbank Quarry team in a full time permanent role. This role suits operators with proven mobile crushing and screening experience who can work safely, efficiently, and with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Report Incidents/hazards to the supervisor Operate mobile crushing and screening plant (jaw, cone, and screen units) Set up, adjust, and monitor crushing circuits to meet production targets Conduct pre-starts, start-ups, shutdowns, and plant changeovers Monitor material flow, throughput, and product quality Perform routine inspections, fault finding, and minor maintenance Coordinate with loader and excavator operators to maintain consistent feed Maintain housekeeping and comply with site safety and environmental standards What you will need to succeed Proven experience operating mobile crushing and screening plant in a quarry environment Strong understanding of crushing circuits and product specifications Relevant mobile plant tickets and competencies (loader, excavator, haul truck) High commitment to safety and risk management Ability to work independently and as part of a team Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Current driver’s license Desirable experience within mobile crushing plant Benefits of working with us Competitive pay based on experience Secure, long-term employment Well-maintained equipment and strong safety culture Training and development opportunities Our business Hy-Tec is a leading supplier of premixed concrete, aggregates, and sands to the commercial, industrial, civil and residential construction sectors.
