Sydney Wealth Management Contract or Temporary The Project Analyst supports the COO office in delivering strategic, risk, regulatory, and operational efficiency initiatives. This position collaborates with business areas such as product management, legal, risk, compliance and IT. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of wealth management products and services with 2-3 years of experience to join the team; they’ll be accountable coordinating project timelines and excels in stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive experience in product and operations . Key Responsibilities: Conducting a deep dive into the current state model and work with varying internal stakeholders to assist in designing future state model. Assist in preparing slides or status reports to project stakeholders. Support project management activities, including defining scope, objectives, milestones, workstreams, owners, timelines, dependencies, and governance. Track project progress, update documentation, and prepare status reports and presentations. Coordinate meetings, document action items, and communicate project status, risks, and timelines to stakeholders. Identify and escalate risks or issues to the project lead or management. Manage smaller workstreams or sub-projects under the guidance of the project lead. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. Ability to work autonomously, take initiative and to prioritise tasks where required Establish structure around unfocused issues and drive consensus to solve problems Identifies problems using a logical, systematic, sequential approach; weighs relevance and accuracy of information; seeks/generates and evaluates alternate perspectives/ solutions. Desired Qualifications / Experience Tertiary degree majoring in business, finance, IT, or related disciplines 2 – 3 years relevant working experience in consulting, product support, or similar roles. Big 4 or management consulting experience is an advantage, but not necessary. Expertise in Financial Services including but not limited to Retail, Private Banking or Wealth Management is an advantage Familiarity with strategy, business development, and project management.
