What You'll Be Doing Mid North Coast Integrated Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs (IMHAOD) will implement a new Emergency Mental Health & Addiction Assessment Team (EMHAART) service that provides safe and easily accessible pathways aimed at improving consumer outcomes and experiences. The service will provide advice, triage, initial assessment, and referral service to facilitate access to the appropriate mental health or substance use disorders (SUD) services for the people of MNCLHD across their lifespan. MNCLHD has a wide distribution of consumers that have challenges accessing services resulting in the need to refine and centralise ‘front-end’ 24/7 referral, access, and entry pathways as a priority to IMHAOD services. This position will be working in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver MHAOD services to the consumers which include intake, triage and assessment as part of the EMHAART. Practice and promote safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures. To work collaboratively with other service providers/agencies to promote assertive and timely service delivery for clients in the provision of holistic evidence-based care in accordance with MNCLHD and Ministry of Health policies and directive. About You Do you have current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge, and ability relevant to area within an outpatient and/or acute hospital setting.
