Refer to the role description for more details. Your Key Accountabilities The core capability requirements for this role are: Deliver security aspects of small to large scale technical projects. This includes the design, installation and configuration of security controls and services to deliver secure solutions for QPS and inter-agency systems ensuring that the information resources, data and network are secure and comply with relative standards and policies such as IS18 and ISO 27000. Analyse, investigate, contain, eradicate, recover, document, and report on security issues related to delivery of solution. Identify and implement strategies to address security issues in alignment with standards and procedures. Critically assess existing security policies, standards and procedures and develop proposals for the determination of new standards and procedures to meet current and future needs of the QPS. Conduct, risk and vulnerability assessments and develop reports on findings, providing both strategic and tactical advice including recommendations on remediation and mitigation of future risks. Maintain, update and continually expand knowledge of developments and trends within the network and information security industry in order to evaluate the benefit and applicability of new and emergency technologies to PSBA systems. Role Requirements Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience Highly Desirable Skills / Experience Tertiary qualifications in ICT &/or industry certifications as (ISC) 2 CISSP, CCEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), Cisco CCNP, Cloud Vendor security architecture certification or experience in a large data network environment. Configuration & management of enterprise security solutions: Enterprise Firewalls & IDS/IPS, Application Delivery Controllers (Application Firewalls, Reverse Proxies, Load Balancers), Email & Web Content Filtering, Identity & Access Management/Federated Services/Active Directory, Networking & VPN solutions, Multifactor Authentication & RADIUS, Endpoint Security. Supporting & securing cloud-based solutions & services: Amazon Web Services (AWS) & Microsoft Azure. Desirable Skills / Experience Building/managing continuous compliance monitoring solutions. Designing/maintaining SIEM solutions (i.e. Splunk ES); Architecting solutions using current IT environments e.g. API Gateways, Containers, SaaS/PaaS services SFIA Skills - Level 4 SCAD - Information Security - Defining and operating a framework of security controls and security management strategies.
