About the Role The Production Operator role is a Full-Time position, based at Wantirna South, VIC. Reporting to Production Team Leader you'll be working in our brick manufacturing plant, supporting machine operations and quality control to ensure production runs efficiently and safely. You'll also contribute to housekeeping, reporting, and operational improvements across the site. Report hazards, incidents, and near misses in accordance with WHS&E protocols Actively contribute to a safe work environment and follow all site safety procedures Maintain high housekeeping standards across the factory Store tools, equipment, and consumables properly when not in use Operate machinery and monitor performance to ensure optimal efficiency Conduct quality checks and support quality improvement projects Participate in customer complaint investigations and help implement corrective actions Minimise product loss and suggest improvements to reduce waste Ensure accurate reporting of daily production numbers Complete pre-start checklists and operator maintenance tasks Participate in preventative maintenance programs and team meetings You will be working Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with the possibility of overtime until 4:00 pm on some days. What you bring to the role Experience in manufacturing or production operations Strong awareness and commitment to safe work practices Ability to work independently and contribute to a team Willingness to learn and grow A forklift licence and a First Aid certificate are desirable.
